Upon closer inspection one can see a tied bag in the bottom right corner that hints at the what the subject matter actual is. Inspired from working in a feed mill, the beaten up chute formed a face that looked back at the operated all day.

In the summer the main streets of St. Marys adorn beautiful flowers. The Queen Street bridge crosses the Thames River connecting the west of town to the downtown core.

Rolling Hay

The farmers field is full of rolled hay bales. In late summer, the these fields yield wonderful colour.

View of the Falls in Summer

One of the more iconic scenery of the town of St. Marys is the falls. The Thames River flows through the town of St. Marys creating this beautiful setting- sometimes referred to as the ‘little falls’. The train trestle can be seen on the background; it is now a walking path that offers a spectacular view.

A view of the Thames river as it runs through the downtown of the small town of St. Marys. The river runs low in the summer revealing lime stone rock to fish from.
