The street musicians of New Orleans were the inspiration for this piece. This painting was completed in 2008 and was produced on grey particle board, the piece is a combination of acrylic, water colour and ink. The street vendors fill the city with character and joy; this piece reflects the soul of those musicians in the one and only New Orleans.

The artist loves to draw abstract figures and often combine them into a new composition. She experiments with a variety of colour applications. In this case the ground is dark and the figures are light with a strong accent. The media is primarily watercolour (but with mixed media) on 140 lb cold press watercolour paper.
