Returns & Exchanges

Original Artwork Refund Policy

From the time you receive your original artwork from our couriers, you have seven (7) days to decide whether to keep the work or return the artwork in its original condition for a refund. Note shipping charges are non-refundable.

We also require all returned artwork to be shipped out by the buyer within three (3) days after confirming with us that the work will be returned.

***Contact us before shipping. A return authorization number is required for all returns.***

If you do not notify us of your intent to return the work within 7 days of receipt or you do not ship the work within 3 days of notifying us, you will NOT be eligible for a refund. Again the initial shipping is non-refundable. The customer will bare the cost of the return shipping. Once the merchandise has been returned, a refund will be issued to the original method of payment.

Downloadable Files Return Policy

All downloaded files are nonrefundable.

Refund Policy (Excluding Original Art and Downloaded Files)

All merchandise unless otherwise indicated may be returned within 30 days from the delivery date for a refund (product and applicable taxes only). A return authorization number is required for all returns. These terms apply to all refunds. Customers must inform Widder Street Gallery of any order discrepancy within 30 days from the delivery date so that we may investigate and resolve the situation accordingly. Once the merchandise has been returned, a refund will be issued to the original method of payment. Again the initial shipping is non-refundable the customer will bare the cost of the return shipping.

Product Return Procedure

The Customer agrees to bear all shipping and insurance charges and all risk of loss for the returned product during shipment. The Customer agrees that all returned products will be 100% complete, in re-saleable condition, and will include the original packaging material or suitable replacement and other accessories (if applicable). If any component of the returned product is missing, the Gallery’s Return Procedure will be breached and Widder Street Gallery may in its sole and absolute discretion reject the entire return or choose to impose additional charges against the Customer for replacement of the missing component(s).

Damaged Products

Widder Street Gallery will gladly replace any item that arrives damaged. If the product is found to be damaged, you must let us know immediately so a claim can be filed. Pictures of the damaged product will be required in advance prior to the replacement item being shipped. If a direct replacement is not available, we reserve the right to offer you a replacement of equal or greater value or issue a full refund. The gallery will reimburse a customer the cost of the return shipping and send a replacement at no cost to the customer. The damaged product must be received by the Gallery first before a replacement is shipped.

Restocking Fee

A restocking fee will apply if a product is returned in poor and/or damaged condition, without the original packaging or accessories. Shipping charges are non-refundable. The Gallery does not issue refunds after 30 days from the delivery date (7 days for original artwork).

*Christmas / Holiday Season Return Policy

Items purchased between December 1st and December 24th, may be returned until January 15th of the following year for a full refund, subject to our other return guidelines listed above.

Shipping & Delivery

Processing Time

Widder Street Gallery processes all orders within approximately 1 to 2 business days, provided there are no problems with payment verification. We do not guarantee same day-shipping. Orders are not processed on weekends and holidays.

Shipping Method

Widder Street Gallery ships all orders in Canada via Canada Post. In the event that delivery with Canada Post is not available due to a work stoppage or strike, the gallery will ship all orders via an alternative. Widder Street Gallery reserves all rights to use an alternate carrier if necessary.

Shipping Origin

Widder Street Gallery (with a few exceptions) ships all Canadian orders from our warehouse in Ontario, Canada.

USA Shipping

Widder Street Gallery ships orders to customers located in the contiguous United States. For customers located in Hawaii and Alaska, please contact us in advance for shipping inquiries.

While Widder Street Gallery makes every effort to get your order to you as soon as possible, please be advised that US customs processing may occasionally delay shipments which is beyond our control. Widder Street Gallery includes the correct costs on all paperwork travelling over the border and therefore maintains no responsibility for any fees that may be charged by US customs. These fees, if any are not included in the advertised price provided by us.

International Shipping

Widder Street Gallery does not fulfill international orders outside of Canada or the contiguous United States on our website.

Handling Charges

Widder Street Gallery does not charge any handling fees for shipments in Canada or in the contiguous United States.

Weekend and Holiday Delivery

Widder Street Gallery does not process orders during weekends or holidays. We do our very best to ship all orders on the next business day. (Canada Post is our carrier of choice. For some locations in Canada, Canada Post is now offering weekend deliveries during the holiday season.)

Delivery of Multiple Items

Widder Street Gallery will attempt to ship multiple items purchased on the same order in one box but we may decide to package your items separately due to weight or size concerns. There will be no additional shipping charges added for orders that must be shipped in multiple boxes.

Delivery

Canada Post will make 1 attempt to deliver your package to your door. If no one is available to receive the package, a pick-up notice will be left at your door or mail box to notify of the location of the postal office to pick-up the package. You have up to 10 days to pick-up your package from the postal station after the first attempt. If after 10 days the package is still left unclaimed at the postal office, Canada Post will ship the unclaimed package back to us.

Please note that it is the responsibility of the customer to pick up the package from the postal station within the holding period. In the case where the package is left unclaimed and is shipped back to us, the customer will be responsible for the shipping charge incurred for the delivery, and may be charged the returned shipping costs charged to Widder Street Gallery.

Privacy & Security

Information Collection and Use

Widder Street Gallery is the sole owner of information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to any outside parties. We collect information from our customers to process orders and better serve you with pertinent information, such as order confirmations and order status updates. Information collected includes your name, shipping address, billing address, telephone numbers, e-mail address, and payment information such as your credit card number. Widder Street Gallery is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers.

Registration

In order to process your orders on this website, you must either log on as a guest or complete the registration form. During registration, you will be required to create a username and password and provide your contact information, which includes your name, e-mail address, telephone number and street address. This information is used to provide you with important Widder Street Gallery services such as automated order status updates via email. If you choose to log on as a guest, a username and password is not required.

Orders

Most of the information collected in the registration process will be used to process orders. During the order process, you will have to provide financial information such as your credit card number and expiration date. Payment for orders can also be paid using PayPal. This information is used for billing purposes and to fulfill your order. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this contact information to get in touch with you. We do not share your personal information with any third parties, except those specified in the Sharing section of this policy.

Security

Widder Street Gallery takes precautions to protect its customers’ information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. When our registration/order form asks you to enter sensitive information, that information is encrypted and is protected with encryption software. The Gallery uses a 128/256-bit Positive SSL certificate.

Access to all of users’ information is restricted. Widder Street Gallery operates in a secured and locked facility. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information.

Testimonials

The testimonials/reviews section of the Widder Street Gallery website is for the purpose of rating individual products. The testimonials section is moderated to ensure accurate testimonials. Published testimonials are genuine and are not edited or altered by the Gallery. We reserve the right to post or remove any testimonial at our discretion.

By posting your comment or testimonial on our website, you give us permission to reprint or use the testimonial in connection with our business. You are also agreeing to the following:

  1. The reprint or use of the testimonial will be at our discretion and without compensation
  2. We may use the testimonial with or without any name credit
  3. We may use the testimonial locally or globally and such use may be make in any media including internet advertising
  4. You and not someone else composed and the posted the testimonial

Other than your name, which we may or may not use, your personal contact information will not be disclosed with your testimonial.

Sharing

We may employ third party companies to perform functions on our behalf. These functions may include package delivery, postal delivery and credit processing. The third parties we contract for these purposes have limited access to your personal information and may not use it for other purposes. We encourage parents to take an active interest in their children’s use of the internet. We do not intend to collect information from children who are under 18 years of age. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use Widder Street Gallery website in the presence of a consenting parent or guardian. We will not knowingly or intentionally collect personal information via the internet from children under the age of 13. Widder Street Gallery is committed to protecting the welfare and privacy of children.

Our special/promotional offers are sent only to customers who grant Widder Street Gallery permission to send them such information.

Warranties & Support

What the Warranty Covers:

The Gallery warrants its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the product’s Warranty Period. The Warranty Period starts on the original purchase date of the product.

All prints are exclusively printed using fade-free art archival papers and inks (unless otherwise stated in product page). All prints comes with our exclusive Fade Free Limited 1 Year Warranty designed to protect your investment.

What the Period of Coverage Is:

This Limited Warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product and not to any subsequent owner. If still owned by the original purchaser, all Widder Street Gallery products are covered by a limited product warranty from the original purchase date of the product. All prints, photographs and illustrations carry a limited one year warranty. Mats, backboards and frames are carry a limited warranty for 30 days.

How to Get Warranty Service:

For warranty claims made during the Warranty Period, Widder Street Gallery will replace any defective product part free of charge. Call the Gallery at 1-905-609-2920 to submit a claim; once we confirm the product is under warranty we will ship replacement parts at no cost to you. This limited warranty does not cover the costs of removing and replacing defective parts from your Gallery product.

Additional Limits on the Warranty:

The Limited Warranty is automatically void if your Widder Street Gallery product is modified in any way, improperly installed, improperly stored, taxed beyond its stated weight capacity or otherwise misused or abused.

Product Listings/Revisions

Widder Street Gallery strives for accuracy in all item descriptions, photographs, compatibility references, detailed specifications, pricing, links and any other product-related information contained herein or referenced on our website. Due to human error and other factors, we cannot guarantee that all item descriptions, photographs, compatibility references, detailed specifications, pricing, links or any other product-related information listed is entirely accurate, complete or current, nor can we assume responsibility for these errors. In the event a product listed on our website is labelled with an incorrect price due to some typographical, informational, technical or other error, the Gallery shall at its sole discretion have the right to refuse and/or cancel any order for said product and immediately amend, correct and/or remove the inaccurate information.

Copyright

Widder Street Gallery respects copyright law and expects its users to do the same. It is the Gallery’s policy to terminate in appropriate circumstances of Members or other Account holders who repeatedly infringe or are believed to be repeatedly infringing the rights of copyright holders.

Ordering

An order is not binding upon Widder Street Gallery until is it accepted; the Gallery must receive payment before it will accept an order. Payment for product(s) ordered is due prior to shipment. Customers can make payment by PayPal, credit card or some other method prearranged and confirmed in writing with the Gallery.

Other Payment Methods (Must be Prearranged)

Widder Street Gallery will also accept Interac e-Transfer as well as payment via direct deposit at a local Canadian financial institution. Sales Tax

Widder Street Gallery currently does not charge GST (HST on sales made in British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia and Ontario). However, in the near future taxes will be collected on all sales as required by law.

Processing Time

Back-Orders

Widder Street Gallery does not sell back-ordered merchandise. We will never purposely charge a customer for an item that we do not physically have in stock at the time of purchase. Occasional inventory discrepancies may occur due to inaccurate inventory counts. If you are erroneously charged for an out-of-stock item, we will either offer you a replacement of equal or greater value or issue you a full refund.

Order Status

Widder Street Gallery will keep you informed of your order status via email. All tracking information will be emailed to the email address provided.

Change/Cancel Orders

You may request to cancel or change your order provided the order has not already been processed and shipped.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Payment

An order is not binding upon Widder Street Gallery until is it accepted; the Gallery must receive payment before it will accept an order. Payment for product(s) ordered is due prior to shipment. Customers can make payment by credit card, PayPal or some other method prearranged and confirmed in writing with Widder Street Gallery.

Widder Street Gallery does not accept cheques or money orders at this time.

Updating Account Information

In order to update your account information (password, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping address), you must first log on to this website using the same username and password that you created during the registration process. There is no option to update your account information if you previously logged on as a guest.

It is important to ensure that you have provided a complete and correct shipping address when placing your order. In the event there is an unsuccessful delivery due to the incorrect shipping address being provided, the customer is responsible for the shipping charge incurred for the delivery, as well as the shipping cost charged to Widder Street Gallery by the carrier for the return delivery.

Please note that while we try our best to catch errors in delivery addresses before the package is shipped, neither Canada Post nor Widder Street Gallery is responsible for correcting an incorrect delivery address and it is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure the delivery address provided is correct and deliverable by Canada Post.

Widder Street Gallery reserves the right to review and adjust the shipping charge for an order, should an incorrect address be provided during order check out.
